Chardonnay – Layer Cake 750ml

Tasting Note: Aromas of tropical fruit, apple and buttered toast on the nose. The palate offers (dare we say it?) layers of ripe tropical fruit, oak, toast and butter notes. Juicy, soft and round with a fine acidity and a sweetish feel – thanks to the ripeness of the fruit used here – this has a long, buttery finish that adds an additional layer (had to do it, sorry) through a touch of chalky minerality on the close.
