Malbec – Layer Cake Mendoza 750ml

Tasting Note: Layer Cake takes its name from an observation made by winemaker Jayson Woodbridge’s grandfather, who noted that the soils of the vineyard were like a layer cake and that a well-made wine should offer layers of rich flavour. This wine would easily have met granddad’s approval: offering structured and smoky dark cherry fruit with an earthy undertone kept in balance by a zesty and vibrant acidity.
