Veneto Appassimento – Tommasi Arele 750ml

From the iconic Tomassi family, this is crafted from Corvina and Oseleta. Corvina is one of Veneto’s most famous grapes, while Oseleta is an old, rare and once almost-extinct variety. This wine cements its roots even further through its name: Arele, which refers to the traditional wooden trays that were used to dry the grapes selected for use in making appassimento wines. This will be an intensely flavoured wine with concentrated dark fruit and spice tones.
