Clear deep dark purple colour. Pure and very intense aromas reminiscent of black berry fruit, red cherries and raspberries combined with mineral notes of flint, and hints of eucalyptus in elegant combination with toasted oak, spices, tobacco and coffee beans. The palate is dry, full bodied with rich concentrated juicy fruit, firm but ripe tannins and a refreshing acidity making this a great food wine that will age very well for the next 12-16 years. Aged for 18 months in 100% new french oak barrels of 500L. 100% Carignan.
