Saint Bris Sauvignon – Caves Bailly-Lapierre 750ml

Tasting Note: Yes, there is an appellation (Saint Bris) in Burgundy where Sauvignon Blanc is the white grape variety used – and this is a lovely expression of it. Intense grassy notes, green pea, asparagus and gooseberry aromas introduce a lively, zippy wine with echoes of the nose and a plethora of herbal notes. (VINTAGES panel, March 2015)
